Brand and Content Executive - Lusaka, Zambia

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and results-driven Brand and Content Executive to join our team in Lusaka, Zambia. The successful candidate will help manage the company's communication channels, including email campaigns and in-app messaging, while driving brand storytelling across all platforms, and will take responsibility for the company blog and social media presence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the internal team by providing localised market insights, audience behaviour analysis and relevant trends.
• Create and suggest a social media content strategy that resonates with Zambian SMEs, entrepreneurs and creatives.
• Create engaging posts (text, image and video) that drive audience engagement and growth.
• Support the planning, coordination and execution of video content production, including feature pieces, testimonials, street interviews and business education content.
• Scout for real Zambian business stories to feature in campaigns.
• Provide feedback on current campaigns and suggest improvements based on local feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in communications.
• Proven experience in content creation, copywriting and digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of SEO, social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
• Understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
• Creative mindset with strong organisation and time management skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, Intercom (or other email marketing platforms) and social media management tools.
