Human Resource Officer

The institution is seeking to recruit a Human Resource Officer based in Lusaka.

Job Purpose

The Human Resource Officer will support the implementation of human resource policies and procedures by managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection, and induction of staff.
• Build and promote in-house company culture.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases.
• Support performance management and appraisal processes.
• Administer staff contracts, leave, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and institutional HR policies.
• Coordinate staff training and capacity-building activities.
• Handle employee grievances and welfare matters.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce statistics.
• Act as correspondent on public relations matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be a member of ZIHRM with a valid practicing license.
• At least 1–3 years' experience in an HR role.
