Nurses Midwifery Technicians Internees (x3)

Nkhamenya Community Hospital, a Catholic health facility of Mzuzu Diocese, is recruiting Nurses Midwifery Technicians Internees (x3) to support quality health service delivery in line with the standards of the Diocese's Health Commission.

Duties

• Accompanying and assisting doctors and clinicians during ward rounds, clinics and procedures
• Providing total patient care to chronically ill patients using the nursing process
• Documenting and compiling daily reports for patients and other required data
• Examining and assessing antenatal mothers and patients
• Attending to mothers during delivery at the labour ward
• Preparing health tips and talks for patients, clients and guardians
• Carrying out mobile and static clinics on designated days

Requirements

• College diploma in Nursing Midwifery Technician
• Practicing Christian
• At least 2 years' experience in the post being applied for
• A traceable record
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Contract

• Nurses Midwifery Technician Internees will be on a 1-year contract, non-renewable

Remuneration

• A competitive remuneration package in line with the Government of Malawi Salary Scale will be offered to successful candidates
