Part-Time Lecturers – ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, IOBZ and CTH

Claremont Business School is inviting applications from suitably qualified professionals to join its team of part-time lecturers for the January 2027 intake, teaching on its ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, IOBZ and CTH programmes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and revision classes for assigned papers in line with the relevant board syllabus and the school timetable
• Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, class exercises and practice questions for each session
• Set, mark and give timely feedback on tests, assignments and mock examinations
• Monitor student attendance and progress and provide academic support to students
• Keep up to date with syllabus changes, examiner reports and examination techniques of the relevant board
• Submit class registers, marks and progress reports to the Academic Department on time
• Participate in student orientation, revision programmes and other academic activities as required
• Uphold the school's academic standards, policies and professional conduct

Qualifications and Experience

• Full membership of the professional board you wish to teach (ACCA, CIMA, CIPS, IOBZ or CTH) is a strict requirement; applicants who are not full members of the relevant board will not be considered
• Proof of membership (membership certificate and current membership number) must be submitted with the application
• A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Sound knowledge of the current syllabus and examination format of the papers you wish to teach
• Prior teaching or lecturing experience is an added advantage
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills
• Availability to lecture strictly on a part-time basis in line with the school's class timetable
