Tambala Estate Limited is offering an internship opportunity for a Plumber at its Tambala Estate location in Mangochi.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances connected to water and gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances.
• Fix leaks, unblock drains and clear blockages.
• Test pipes and fixtures for leaks and damage.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems.
• Install water heaters, toilets and sinks.
• Repair and maintain sewage systems.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide 24-hour service when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in Plumbing.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years' experience carrying out plumbing duties.
• Must be between 30 and 45 years of age.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
