Senior Assistant Human Resources Management Officer

Nkhamenya Community Hospital, a Catholic health facility under the Health Commission of Mzuzu Diocese, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Assistant Human Resources Management Officer to support the delivery of quality, accessible health services to the rural community it serves.

About the Role

• Position: Senior Assistant Human Resources Management Officer (Grade J)
• Location: Nkhamenya, Kasungu
• Contract: Three-year contract, renewable depending on performance

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding of hospital staff
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with hospital goals
• Manage employee performance appraisal and professional development programmes
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and maintain employee records securely
• Manage payroll and benefits administration
• Conduct periodic reviews of HR policies and practices to ensure they meet the hospital's needs and comply with legal requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma in pure Human Resource Management

Additional Requirements

• Must be a practicing Christian
• Must have at least two years' experience in the post being applied for
• Must have a traceable record
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration

• A competitive remuneration package in line with the Government of Malawi Salary Scale will be offered to successful candidates
