Structural Engineer - Telecommunications

This is a contract position for a telecommunications infrastructure company operating in Zimbabwe, seeking a qualified engineer to oversee tower and foundation projects.

Role

• Design, assess and supervise telecom towers, foundations and related infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations, drawings and reports.
• Conduct inspections and oversee construction quality.
• Ensure compliance with POTRAZ and applicable standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in telecom tower design, construction or supervision, including projects in Zimbabwe.
• Knowledge of POTRAZ requirements, structural/steel and concrete design, and foundation engineering, with proficiency in relevant design software.
• Strong project management, reporting and coordination skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
• ECZ or professional registration and experience with tower audits/upgrades are an advantage.
