Job Description
Reporting to the ICT Manager, the Systems Administrator will administer and implement ICT systems to optimise the Authority's operations.
Specific Duties
- Implement systems in accordance with ICT policies to ensure user adherence.
- Provide timely technical support and assistance to staff to facilitate performance of tasks.
- Develop, deploy, configure and maintain ICT infrastructure to provide ICT services.
- Automate business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement ICT projects for timely delivery of services.
- Monitor third-party service providers' solutions for compliance with service-level agreements.
- Implement ICT business continuity and disaster recovery plans and measures to ensure uninterrupted operations and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent with credit or better in Mathematics and English.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
- 4 years' post-qualification experience in ICT field and management.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution.
- ZAQA certification for all qualifications.
