Position: ASSISTANT REGISTRAR - FACULTY OF MEDICINE

Job Purpose: To assist the Registrar in managing, coordinating and directing functions at Faculty Level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication between students and dean's offices
• Maintain and update student records (registration status, attendance, grades)
• Supervise registration, admissions, examinations, and academic affairs
• Keep staff records and submit weekly reports
• Liaise with deans on curriculum development and accreditation
• Organize orientation, graduation, and other events

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certificate (5 credits: English, Mathematics, Science) or equivalent
• Degree in MBChB or relevant Social Science validated by ZAQA
• At least 2 years experience in the medical field
• Registered Nurse license required

Position: REGISTERED NURSE - APEX DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC

Job Purpose: To provide nursing care (screening and administering treatment) to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open files, issue cards for new cases
• Screen out-patients (temperature, BP, weight) and refer as needed
• Administer treatments (drugs, injections, IV, suturing, dressing wounds)
• Conduct HIV counselling/testing and PMTCT bookings
• Manage ante-natal clinics and health talks
• Escort referred patients to other hospitals

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 certificate (5 credits: English, Mathematics, Science) or equivalent
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing validated by ZAQA
• Valid NMCZ license required
• At least 3 years experience with HIV VCT and management exposure
